Mission
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is calling on a family to serve in Switzerland. We pray that the Holy Spirit will go before this missionary family, and that we each will make a fresh re-commitment to reach the unreached with hope.

A former gambler in Uzbekistan finds Jesus and transforms his life. He now cooks meals for the community and invites them to spend time together. He hopes to share joy with others.
“Why did this happen?” he prayed. “Couldn’t the prize ceremony have been on Sunday or Monday instead of Sabbath so I could go?”
She told Alla that she was worshipping on Sabbath at a Seventh-day Adventist church. Alla was surprised and delighted. She wondered, “Are there really people in Uzbekistan who keep the seventh-day Sabbath?”
The president and Pastor Lata knelt, and the president began to pray. Suddenly, a voice rang out gently but firmly, “Pastor Lata. You are rejecting my call!”
The Institute of World Mission provides appropriate cross-cultural training for all missionaries. The Institute cooperates with a tentmaker program and further serves the church with consulting, training and strategic planning for the worldwide mission of the church.
The needs and challenges of the worldwide Adventist Church are great and varied. The need is for youth, and the young at heart, to respond to the call to share the good news of the gospel with those who need to hear it.
More than half the world's population will live in urban areas today. As the world's urban landscape changes, so will our approach to mission. The Adventist Church is committed to finding the best way to tell the world about Jesus.
