East-Central Africa Division
The East-Central Africa Division includes the countries of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania, and Uganda. The division is home to more than 286 million people, more than 2.4 million of whom are Seventh-day Adventists. That’s a ratio of one Adventist for every 119 people.
Euro-Africa Division
The Euro-Africa Division includes Afghanistan, Algeria, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Holy See, Iran, Italy, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, and Western Sahara. More than 596 million people live in this area, but only 176,230 are Seventh-day Adventists, a ratio of one Adventist for every 3,382 people.
Euro-Asia Division
The Euro-Asia Division, which stretches almost halfway around the world, from Western Europe to Eastern Asia and from the polar regions of the Arctic Ocean to the predominantly Muslim republics in the south. It includes the countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Inter-American Division
The Inter-American Division includes Central America, the northernmost countries of South America, and the islands of the Caribbean. Country list: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, French Guiana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States Virgin Islands, and Venezuela.

North American Division
The North American Division includes Bermuda, Canada, the French possession of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, the United States of America, Johnston Island, Midway Islands, and all other islands of the Pacific not attached to other divisions and bounded by the date line on the west, by the equator on the south, and by longitude 120 on the east.
Northern Asia-Pacific Division
The Northern Asia-Pacific Division includes China, Japan, Mongolia, North and South Korea, and Taiwan. The region is home to 1.5 billion people, with an Adventist membership of almost 563,000.That’s a ratio of one Adventist for nearly every 2,700 people.
South American Division
The South American Division includes Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Falkland Islands, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay, with adjacent islands in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. More than 305 million people live in the South American Division, and 2.6 million Seventh-day Adventists share their faith here. That is a ratio of about one Adventist for every 117 people.
South Pacific Division
The South Pacific Division includes Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the islands of the Pacific lying south of the equator, including the Cook Islands, Fiji, Nauru, Pitcairn, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and others. Some 34 million people live in this region, including more than 400,900 Adventists. That’s a ratio of one Adventist for nearly every 85 people.
Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division
The Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division includes Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Kerguelen Islands, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Reunion, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Ascension, St. Helena, and Tristan da Cunha Islands. Of its 151 million people more than 2.1 million are Seventh-day Adventists. That is a ratio of about one Adventist for every 72 people.
Southern Asia Division
The Southern Asia Division includes the countries of Bhutan, India, Nepal, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the Maldive Islands. From the snow-capped Himalayas of northern India, Nepal, and Bhutan, to the lush tropics of southern India, the Southern Asia Division faces many challenges to evangelism.

With a populaton of about 744 million people, the Southern Asia-Pacific Division includes Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Viet Nam, and islands of the Pacific, namely the United States territories of Guam and Wake Island, the Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, and Palau. Trans-European Division
The Trans-European Division includes the following countries in Europe, Asia, and northern Africa: Albania, Bahrain, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Channel Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Faeroe Islands, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Sweden, Syrian Arab Republic, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Yemen. The division is home to more than 616 million people, but only 111,000 are Seventh-day Adventists. That’s a ratio of one Adventist for every 5,555 people.
West-Central Africa Division
The West-Central Africa Division includes the countries of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
