Joylin felt uneasy when she arrived at the hospital. She was surrounded by people she didn’t know. She didn’t like the smell of the hospital air. Someone put an IV drip into her arm, and it hurt. Then a nurse took her to a bed in the hospital ward.
But when Father and Mother drank, they began to argue. When they drank, they began to fight. The more they drank, the more they fought. The more they fought, the more they drank.

His face filled with longing to be with them, to wear the uniform that they were wearing, to carry the books that they were carrying, and most of all to sing the songs they were singing.
The Global Mission pioneer prayed for little Anurag along the big river on that Christmas Day. He also invited Mother to join an online Bible study group that met every day.
Achiaa tried to stop crying to thank him. But before she knew it, the old man stood up and got off the bus. Achiaa followed him out onto the street.
Then Achiaa went away to a special camp meeting for children. For 10 days, she woke up at 4:30 a.m. when a bell rang to call all of the children to pray. With a heavy heart, Achiaa thought about Mother back at home.
But when Ajara’s parents saw that she was going to church. They were furious. They weren’t Christians. They didn’t believe that Jesus is God. They belonged to another world religion. So, the next Sabbath, Mother forbade Ajara from going to church.
“Be careful not to drop the Bible,” he said. “Also, be confident when you read the Bible. Look only at the Bible while you are reading it. Don’t look up.”
