“Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people,” wrote Ellen G. White. This holistic approach remains the foundation of effective mission. Jesus mingled with people, showed them kindness, ministered to their needs, gained their confidence, and then invited them to follow Him. Today, Global Mission follows this model, ensuring mission work meets both physical and spiritual needs.
Millions of people have never heard the name of Jesus and live in communities with no Adventist presence. These include large urban centers, remote villages, and cultural or religious groups unfamiliar with Christianity. Global Mission prioritizes these groups by sending pioneers, establishing Urban Centers of Influence, and using contextualized ministry to share the gospel in a way that resonates.
