Rodrig [rohd-REEG] grew up in a family that seldom attended church. One day Rodrig learned that his father had taken a second wife. Mother was so angry that she moved away. She sent Rodrig and his sister to live with their uncle.

Vanessa was sad. Her best friend, Gladys, had invited her to her birthday party. But when Vanessa didn’t eat the unclean food that her mother served at the party, Gladys’s mother was upset. Even Gladys seemed angry with Vanessa.

Daniel tells his neighborhood friends Bible stories. He recites Bible verses for them too. Daniel’s friend Pradeep [prah-DEEP] likes to hear about God. The boys sometimes stop playing just to talk about God. Pradeep likes to hear Daniel tell stories from the Bible. Daniel explains to him that Jesus died for him.
Lyuba [lee-OO-bah] lives in a small village in Armenia. There are only 14 or 15 Adventist believers in Lyuba’s village, and they worship in her family’s house. Lyuba and her younger brother and sister are the only children in the church, so they worship with the adults.

Someone gave Suren a paper with bright pictures on it. Suren studied the paper for several minutes. He couldn’t read well yet, but he knew the paper talked about God. He took it to his neighbor, Susanna. She was a believer; surely she would want to read the paper.
