When the COVID-19 lockdown ended his work, Zeth Louis Lekatompessy in Indonesia chose a surprising path—he became a volunteer Bible worker with no guaranteed income. Together with his wife, he began praying daily for people on a growing list and visiting families across Ambon Island to offer Bible studies. Though many wondered how the family survived without a salary, Zeth says God has faithfully provided for their needs while they focus on bringing others to Christ.

Together with his wife, he prayed daily, visited relatives, and invited them to evangelistic meetings. Many accepted the message, and Zeth’s passion for sharing the gospel grew. Even after losing his job during the COVID-19 pandemic, he continued visiting people with his family, praying over a growing list of names and offering Bible studies—leading many more to baptism.

Nearly 40 years later, the clinic still serves the community, and this quarter’s Thirteenth Sabbath Offering will help replace its aging buildings with modern facilities.
