"Otra Oportunidad" by Angie Rojas

Chile

A beautiful song by Angie Rojas from the album, "El Poder de la Esperanza."

Dios, tantas veces caí,

y hoy me encuentro aquí

dame otra oportunidad.

Que yo pueda oir tu voz

ven y lávame Padre Santo, te ruego

necesito de ti, Señor.

Pues habita en mí, Señor

yo te pido, mi Dios, en oración

te ruego, toma mi vida

dame otra oportunidad

Uhh, uuhh, ahh, ahh.

Sola no viviré, ya más,

tú escuchaste mi oración y me salvaste,

gracias yo doy a ti,

por esta oportunidad.

CODA: Por esta oportunidad

uhhhh,

God, so many times I fell

and today I stand here

to tell you that I,

without you, I can’t anymore.

I learned, with pain,

about the good that I had to follow everyday

but today, I decided to give me up.

Everything that I am

I put it all in your hands, Lord.

Well, dwell in me, Lord

I ask you my God in prayer

I pray you: take my life!

give me one more chance.

That I may hear your voice

come and wash me, Holy Father, I pray you

I need you, Lord.

Well, dwell in me, Lord

I ask you my God in prayer

I pray you: take my life!

give me one more chance.

Oohh, Oohh, Aahh, Aahh.

I will not live alone, anymore

you heard my prayer and you saved me

thanks I give to you

for this chance.

CODA: For this chance

Oohhh.

“Let Us Be Bold, Let Us Be Faithful!” GC Secretary Urges Mission Leaders

At the Mission Refocus Conference in Bangkok, GC executive secretary Rick McEdward urges Adventist leaders to boldly engage unreached people groups, strengthen discipleship, and use every available avenue—personal and digital—to share Christ amid the challenges of the 10/40 Window, post‑Christian societies, and rapidly growing cities.

    Snowy Night’s Prayer

In Austria, young Amelie lost her headlamp while sledding in the dark, snowy night. After praying for help, she and her family immediately found something even more important—their lost house keys, which would have left them locked out in the freezing cold. Her story shows how God answers prayers in the way we need most, not always the way we expect.

The Davis’ Indians - Part 2

After Ovid Elbert Davis died of blackwater fever in 1911 at Mt. Roraima, the Indigenous believers he had taught in British Guiana continued meeting every Sabbath at his grave, singing the hymn he taught them and pleading for another teacher. Fourteen years later, missionaries finally returned, finding more than 130 people still faithful to the commitment Davis recorded before his death. Today, his legacy lives on through the Davis Memorial Hospital in Georgetown and the thriving Adventist communities that grew from his early work.
