Global Mission pioneers are the lay members living in communities where Jesus is unknown, supported by your prayers and funds like the Annual Mission Sacrifice Offering.
There are places in the world today where entire communities live and grow without ever encountering the message of Jesus—places without a church, without a congregation, and without anyone actively sharing that hope.
And yet, even there, God is already at work, preparing hearts and calling someone to go.
Global Mission pioneers are lay members who respond to that call, stepping into communities where the gospel is not yet known and choosing to begin with something simple but powerful: relationships.
Rather than starting with a church building, they invest in people, taking time to listen, to understand, and to live alongside others in their daily lives.
They share meals, offer help, and stand with families in both joy and hardship. Through consistency and care, trust begins to grow, and over time, that trust opens the door for something more.
What begins as a few people meeting together becomes a growing community of faith.
And this is how churches are planted. Not all at once, but slowly and steadily, through the presence, compassion, and sacrifice of the people who’ve started them.
This work is personal and it takes time. Sometimes, it’s even dangerous. But Global Mission pioneers aren’t alone.
They’re supported by the Global Mission Annual Sacrifice Offering, which makes it possible for them to remain in the places where God has called them and to continue nurturing new groups of believers.
It’s an opportunity to give purposefully, to take part in mission in a way that reaches far beyond what we can see.
